Changes in oral glucose tolerance during the menstrual cycle.

This suggested the possibility that changes in endogenous oestrogen levels occurring during the normal menstrual cycle might be associated with changes in carbohydrate tolerance. We report here the results of repeated oral glucose tolerance tests in a small group of menstruating women and the relation between glucose tolerance and the phase of the menstrual cycle.
